I have to admit that I didn't know this book was coming out because oddly I wasn't following the author on Facebook, but another author shared it's release and I literally SQUEALED with joy. And one-clicked that bad boy.

I read alot, I pick the $6 and under books, devour them in 2 days and move on . . . I love a good series but often have to scan the reviews and what not to remind me of the story before I start a part 3.

Flat-Out Love & Flat-Out Matt stuck with me, I think about those books often. I wonder when someone will get smart and make them into a movie . . .

I started this book a wee confused. I felt utterly dumb at not being able to keep up with Celeste. I wasn't about to put it down but I wondered it it would keep my attention.

OH BOY did it!

I know everyone comes on here & given a play by play, or re-cap, or a rave review of the wonderful story but that just isn't me. I don't want to spoil a thing so I will go with this . . .

WHAT I LOVED:
- the goofy emails
- the coffee pictures
- the hidden beauty of the nerdy girl
- the love of a brother
- the friend that comes along
- the collage application help
- the catsuit & red hair

Ok ok . . . those are super vague but you will get it. Just read the book.

I will warn you that at about 80% to have an ENTIRE tissue box ready because you will cry. I did. Like the ugly cry . . . had to rest the book on my lap and snort and cry . . . yeah, you will too.

The ending was a wee abrupt as I would have loved an "One Year Later" Epilogue but I hold out hope for a Flat-Out Forever (see what I did there).

There are a few authors I trust implicitly with my heart. Jessica Park is one of them. Wherever I am....when I find out one of her books went live? I one-click and read IMMEDIATELY. Flat-Out Celeste was no exception. I was engrossed from the beginning. We all love Celeste from Flat-Out Love, but being in her mind is a whole new ballgame. I was a little concerned that I couldn't connect with her character enough, but the perfectly woven tale about a young woman struggling to find her true identity hit the mark. BULLS-EYE! The evolution of Celeste is phenomenal, heart-wrenching and addicting. Parks ability to write emotionally driven tales is like no other and by the middle of the book you feel as if you truly know Celeste. You are rooting for her, and crying with her throughout the entire book!

But lets talk about the romance. Holymygosh, the romance. It was a double-decker rollercoaster ride of romance!! I was so excited that Matt and Julie played such a pivotal part in the story. But they weren't the stars. Justin and Celeste were cute and quirky...and totally swoon-worthy. I didn't think that this story would grab me like Flat-Out Love did. I knew I would love it, but I didn't know I would FREAKING LOVE IT as much as I do.

I love elevator scenes. love love love them. and all the sweet texting. and the drunken decisions. and christmas trees. and everything.
You know those moments when you can't work out what to read next? Where each book you start isn't quite the one? That's where I was a few hours ago. And I chose Jessica Park's Flat-Out Celeste. I knew I'd chuckle. I knew I'd feel empathy. I knew I'd feel awkwardness. I knew there would be tears. So therefore I knew it was the book to choose. I wasn't wrong.

Having read the first two books, (several times) I truly loved how this installment moved Matt and Julie's story forward too. Because I 'needed' to know where they were up to. That's Park's fault because she writes characters who win your heart. Every. Time. And sweet, beautiful, dysfunctional Celeste has owned my heart since I first met her. And to see her grow into an adult, with all her intelligence and quirk, was such a heartwarming and heart-wrenching journey. One that captivated me from the first page to the last.

And you get to meet Justin, who from the very first email, made me smile and giggle. He was just so adorable. His heart a perfect match for our Celeste.

So, this book is one I highly recommend. Jessica Park's writing is simple and wonderful. She digs deep into emotional waters, yet still manages to offer levity and joy. Her strength of storytelling pulls you in, enthralls, and rewards your effort to turn page after page. Prepare your heart to fall in love with two more main characters. Prepare your mind to be consumed. Prepare your soul to be enlightened and tugged. Prepare to love this story.
