Don't waste your money. Amateurish effort much better done, and done before, by much better writers. Thriller? I don't think so.
Especially for those with some military knowledge (like Clancy books) AND some medical knowledge, this is a fast-paced and exciting adventure for the reader.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I "picked up a copy" of Vampire Chimeras. But I was WAY more than pleasantly surprised. The characters were so interesting and the plot so engaging that not only couldn't I put the book down, but I kept visualizing each scene in my head as though I were watching a feature length film!

Me working in the arena of science, I felt that Ms. Kragie had certainly done her homework here. All the scenarios seemed believable, even in areas where I didn't think the author had a working knowledge of. And the book seems so timely now... almost predictive.

So what do you think Hollywood? Take a read, get in touch with this new author and start putting that screenplay together.

And all you adventure/science/thriller fans out there... Get a copy of this book and sit back and be enthralled.
I just finished reading Vampire Chimeras and really enjoyed it! The storyline and characters are engrossing, and the book is hard to put down. I especially liked all the technical details--medical and military--obviously written by an expert in the field. Nice work, Dr. Kragie!
The song lyrics throughout were very distracting. The medical terminology part was great.
